FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000
Supplement to the Council’s
Publication Scheme
Any person
who makes a request to the Council for information must be informed whether
the Council holds the information and, subject to exemptions, supplied
with that information.
This is supported
by the following arrangements:
- Information will be available, where practicable as detailed in
the Council’s Publication Scheme:
- in hard copy within 20 working days of the receipt of a written
request to the Clerk to the Council; and/or
- by inspection at suitable premises by prior appointment on written
request to the Clerk to the Council; and/or
- on the website (whichever is applicable)
- free of charge except the Council reserves the discretion to charge £25
where the research requirements have been extensive in relation to
the Clerk’s allocated hours of work
- a charge will be made for the provision of copies of the documents/information
listed (15p per A4 page, or equivalent)
- all written requests will, where practicable, be acknowledged within
3 days of their receipt (if the information cannot be provided within
that timescale)
- For information being provided by inspection at suitable premises
by prior appointment:
· Arrangements will be made for the inspection to be carried
out within 10 working days of the receipt of the request
· These arrangements will include agreeing a date, time and
venue
· The inspection will take place in the presence of two members
of the Council, one of whom may be the Clerk
