The council consists of elected councillors and employees. Councillors are elected every four years, and the next election is due in May 2023. Vacancies on the council can be filled via co-option. The current council size is nine councillors.

Cllr Angela Capstick

Chair
Angela is widowed with one grown up daughter and one in college. Angela moved to Moulton in 2000 from the South East with her late husband and soon became involved in a number of village organisations; as deputy chair and fundraiser for Moulton pre-school, secretary Moulton Events Committee and deputy chair of Moulton Matters. Hobbies include horse riding, motor biking and dog walking.- Location: Moulton

Cllr Dan Marr

Councillor
Dan was born in Lincolnshire and moved to Cheshire in 2008, joining Moulton in 2019. A Data Analyst by day, and motorsport broadcaster, media consultant and cameraman by weekend. He loves film (squeezing a home cinema in a 2 bed flat!), photography and walking.Cllr John Harding

John is married with two children and works in the IT industry. He has lived in Cheshire for fifteen years and in Moulton since 2015. He enjoys reading, writing, cycling and is a keen whisky drinker.- Location: Moulton

Cllr Mark Boyle

Councillor
Mark lives with his wife in Wilson drive and moved into the village into 2009. Mark use to be a scout leader but now just helps out with camps as and when required for his old cub pack (Widnes). Hobbies: Ice Hockey fan (Widnes wild), rugby (especially six nations) and walking.- Location: Moulton

Cllr Nick Jennings

Councillor
Originally from the West Riding of Yorkshire has lived in Cheshire now for 43 years and in Moulton since 2007. A father to four children, a grandfather to three, and now semi-retired.
